1. All Kindergarten 1 applicants MUST be at least (4) four years old by August 1 and the extension period shall be until 31 October of the of the current school year.

ADMISSION FOR LSEN

2. Parents are required to submit relevant documents supporting the condition from a recognized developmental clinic within three (3) years, or as frequently needed.

3. Applicants exhibiting observable conditions such as lack of eye contact, absence of speech, excessive activity, or inability to focus may be accepted on probationary status. They will undergo a 30-day observation period in the classroom, supported by the teacher's daily anecdotal records. The discussion of these records will involve regular and resource teachers, the guidance counselor, department head, and principal.

4. Parents will be strongly encouraged and required to seek a formal assessment from a Developmental Pediatrician during this period.

5. Acceptance into the inclusive education program will be based on the assessment and recommendation of the Developmental Pediatrician, subject to approval by the principal.

6. Parents must provide written consent to enroll their children in the inclusive education program for learners with special educational needs (LSEN).

7. The child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) should be provided to assist the resource teacher in prioritizing skills for mastery. If the IEP is unavailable, the cooperation of regular and subject teachers is crucial. Based on their observations and anecdotal records, the resource teacher may develop a curriculum tailored to the child's current performance level..

8. Parents unwilling to have their child undergo formal assessment due to valid reasons will be asked to fill out and sign a waiver form before admission. However, this may result in the child not receiving appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions, potentially hindering their learning.

9. If parents decide to change their stance and opt for formal assessment later in the academic year, they must promptly inform the child's adviser.

10. The school can currently accommodate learners with the following special educational needs categories: *Specific Learning Disability (SLD) such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. *Mild Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). *Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
